Managing your Pausemark Pro subscription

Pausemark Pro is an auto-renewable subscription billed through your Apple Account. It renews automatically for the same period and price until you cancel, and you can cancel any time — the subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.

To cancel or change your plan:

• Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
• Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
• Select Pausemark and choose Cancel Subscription or change your plan.

Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Deleting your data

Pausemark is local-first: your journal and settings live on your device, not on a Pausemark server. To permanently remove everything, open Pausemark and choose Settings → Delete all data. This clears your journal entries, weekly notes, preferences, reminders, and Screen Time configuration from the device. Deleting the app also removes its local data. You can export a portable JSON copy first from Settings if you want to keep a backup.

Common questions

Does my writing get uploaded anywhere?
No. Journal text stays on your device. Pausemark does not upload it to a Pausemark server.

Do I need an account?
No. Pausemark works without any account or sign-in.

Can I move my journal to a new device?
Use Settings → Export to save a JSON copy, then import it on the new device. Encrypted Apple device backups may also include Pausemark's data.
