How does app pausing work?
Pausemark uses Apple Screen Time. You pick the apps and categories to guard; when you open one, a writing prompt appears first. It requires a supported iPhone and your authorization.
Can I just skip the pause?
Yes. It's a speed bump, not a jail. You can always close the prompt. Catching the impulse is the point, and most of the time that's enough.
Is my journal private?
Your writing stays on your device. No account, no upload to Pausemark servers, no selling personal information. You can export everything as JSON or delete it on-device anytime.
What does it cost?
The app is free with no account required. Pausemark Pro is an optional subscription. Prices are displayed by Apple and may vary by region; the current listed prices are $4.99/month or $39.99/year. The yearly plan includes a one-week free trial for eligible users and renews automatically afterward at the displayed price unless canceled.
